We are pleased to announce that, as of October 2025, Tamás Zelei has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Syreon Research Institute, succeeding Bertalan Jászkúti, who has led the organisation since 2023.
Tamás’ journey at Syreon began more than a decade ago as a trainee, and since then, he has advanced through various roles, including Researcher, Principal Researcher, Head of Industry Research Development, and, most recently, Medical Director. His expertise spans epidemiology, evidence synthesis, economic modelling, strategic pricing, and market access, and he brings significant international experience from collaborating with both public and private organisations across the globe.
We extend our gratitude to Bertalan for his leadership during a pivotal time of transition, as the founders of Syreon stepped back from day-to-day operations and we fine-tuned our organisational structure. We wish both Bertalan and Tamás continued success in their new roles as they work together to drive Syreon Research Institute forward!
