Congratulations to our colleague Bertalan Németh, Principal Health Economist at our Institute, on receiving the 2025 ISPOR Bernie O’Brien New Investigator Award.
This award, presented by ISPOR, recognises new investigators demonstrating exceptional promise in health economics and outcomes research.
In the last 10 years, Bertalan published more than 60 peer-reviewed papers and was a leader of transferability workpackages of European Union-funded research projects. He has been an active member of ISPOR, serving as the president of the ISPOR Hungary Chapter between 2018-2019, and as the Chair of the ISPOR CEE Consortium Executive Committee between 2021-2022. He was a key faculty member in ISPOR short courses and contributed to several ISPOR conferences as Issue Panel/Workshop Review Committee Co-Chair or Program Committee Co-Chair. Bertalan exemplifies the excellence and dedication that drive Syreon’s mission to advance evidence-based healthcare worldwide.
